As the work week gets underway, the Monday (March 20) edition of the DX Digest is packed to the brim with fresh music from Drake and Kanye West, Mike WiLL Made-It and Lil Yachty, and The Alchemist, who blesses listeners with the next installment of Rapper’s Best Friend instrumental series. After multiple delays, Drake’s long-awaited follow-up to Views, More Life,finally arrived late last week. Kanye West makes an appearance on one of the album standouts, “Glow,” which is just one of the many collaborative tracks on the project. Mike will made-it f. lil yachty – “hasselhoff”

As SXSW comes to a close, and industry people and their artists get back to their “regular” lives, featured performer Lil Yachty is most likely taking a moment to unwind, but still manages to stay on the radar with a new track from producer Mike WiLL Made-It. Titled “Hasselhoff,” the track is taken from Mike Will’s upcoming project, Ransom 2, which is expected on March 24.

desiigner – “nardwuar interview”

Canada’s kookiest “journalist” Nardwuar is back with another edition of his video series, but this time he’s talking to Desiigner. Filmed at SXSW, Nardwaur got on the rapper’s good side by immediately handing him a copy of a 1963 Guitar Crusher record, which his grandfather made.

The alchemist – “rapper’s best friend 4 (instrumental Series)”

Prolific producer The Alchemist has returned with another beat tape in his Rapper’s Best Friend series, which is simply titled Rapper’s Best Friend 4. Comprised of 16 tracks, the album boasts instrumental versions of songs like Danny Brown’s “White Lines” and Action Bronson’s “Terry.” Listen to it in full above.

One of Harlem’s finest, Dave East, has offered up his version of The Weeknd’s “Party Mon$ter” with his own “Eastmix.” The song was paired with a vague announcement that read: “#paranoia coming soon!” The forthcoming mixtape will serve as the follow-up to 2016’s Kairi Chanel project.

iamsu! f. snoop dogg – “addy”

Bay Area rapper IAMSU! has been pumping out material religiously lately and is back with another fresh single, “Addy,” featuring Snoop Dogg and his “failing career.” The song comes ahead of Boss Up 2, according to the Soundcloud link.

With BADBADNOTGOOD’s video for “Lavender” featuring Snoop Dogg making headlines, the Canadian collective once again has another high-profile collaboration with Beastie Boys’ MC Mike D. As part of a special five-song session on Mike D’s Beats 1 show The Echo Chamber, they did a performance of Galt MacDermot’s “Coffee Cold” assisted by Mr. Diamond on the drums.
