Tuesday’s (March 14) version of the DX Digest has Juelz Santana comfortably in the number one slot with “Time Ticking,” which features Dave East, Rowdy Rebel and an incarcerated Bobby Shmurda, who must have his own booth in his cell block. Whatever the case, it’s followed by E-40’s new video for “Uh Huh,” Jidenna’s Over/Under episode, and an incredible remix of Frank Ocean’s “Chanel” with A$AP Rocky. From there, music from Lil Uzi Vert, Pounds and Conway, Bok Nero, iLL Chris, G4SHi, and Bay Area Hip Hop staple Deuce Eclipse make the cut.
Juelz Santana & Dave East f. Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel – “Time Ticking”
Juelz Santana called on an incarcerated Bobby Shmurda for “Time Ticking” and then enlisted Dave East and Rowdy Rebel for the track as well. Produced by Jahlil Beats, the song now has a visual to go with it. Of course, half of the motley crew was unable to appear in the video, so it seems East and The Diplomat vet recruited their Harlem homies for the shoot. Watch it above.
