St. Louis, MO

For several years, the city of St. Louis has observed March 14 as “314 Day.” The locally celebrated holiday borrows its name from the city’s area code and is intended to create unity and goodwill amongst its residents.

This year, the people of the Lou are in for an A-list round of performances as Migos, Jeezy and Gucci Mane have been named as the this year’s headliners for the annual event’s State of Emergency 4 concert.

The “Bad and Boujee” festivities will go down on March 14 at the Chaifetz Arena’s stage and REVOLT TV will livestream the entire event for those who can’t make it in person.

St. Louis’ promoter and entertainment industry insider Loose Cannon Slim is putting on the show, which he celebrated earlier in the year by selling tickets for just $3.14 on a single day in January.

“It’s something special I love to do for the city. We’ll have fun but as always we draw attention to social issues that are impacting the community,” he said in a press release.

The event was originally started by hometown favorite rapper Young Dip. During a 2014 interview with his local FOX2 Now St. Louis news station, he doubled down on the notion of unity, especially in the wake of the turmoil in Ferguson, which stemmed from unarmed teen Mike Brown being shot to death by a police officer.

State of Emergency 4 can be streamed exclusively on REVOLT.tv and REVOLT TV, March 14th at 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PST.
