Although she didn’t quite hit below the placenta like Foxy Brown did, “My Neck, My Back” rapper Khia has inserted herself into 2017’s top rap beef in favor of Nicki Minaj over Remy Ma.
Without being prompted or mentioned in the melee, she reshared a Chris Brown shade-face meme on Instagram with the caption: “Name 5 Remy Ma songs Without Google since yal love her.” To add a layer to the insult, Khia wrote “I’ll wait.. As a courtesy I’ll let you guys include features with FAT JOE.”
And to top it off, she’s busy taking selfies in shirts with Papoose’s name and likeness on it.
Remy Ma’s debut album was released back in 2006 but shortly thereafter, the BX rhymer served a six-year prison sentence for assault (shooting a friend in the stomach) and her solo career never gained much traction outside of the album single “Conceited.” Likewise, her Grammy-nominated hit with Fat Joe, 2016’s “All The Way Up,” was the only record to crack the Billboard 100 from her recently released album with the Terror Squad founder, so to the run-of-the-mill Hip Hop fan, the meme might speak certain truths and hold comedic value.

Now, of course, the not-so-subtle irony of the situation is Khia widely known as a Hip Hop one-hit wonder, due to her 2002 surprise hit, “My Neck, My Back (Lick It).” The song reached No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 and its music video garnered heavy rotation on BET’s now defunct programs, 106 & Park and BET: Uncut.
And the people of social media had no qualms in letting the Thug Misses live that down.
These days, it appears Khia thrives on instigation. Last year when the entire world was drowning in Beyoncé Lemonade fever, Khia made headlines by going totally against the grain with disses and slander.
