Reykjavik, Iceland

Not to be outdone by Miami’s Rolling Loud Fest, the entire country of Iceland is simmering with anticipation on what is now their biggest Hip Hop announcement to ever be witnessed.

Rick Ross, Big Sean, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals have joined Iceland’s Secret Solstice Festival, which also boasts a lineup of Young M.A, Pharoahe Monch, Odd Future’s Left Brain, Roots Manuva, and the eternal legend and Queen of Funk, Chaka Khan.

If your tastes vary past rap, then the adjacent rock legends Foo Fighters and dance schedule that includes The Prodigy, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, The Black Madonna, Lane 8 and Cubicolor should also enthuse music fans.

The significance of the event lies in its title as the festival sees 72 hours of daylight in the most northerly capital city of Reykjavik during the summer solstic weekend on June 16-18.
