The DX Digest for Monday (February 27) kicks off with Young M.A’s video for “Kween,” and Future and Ariana Grande’s collaborative video for “Everyday” in the top spots while Chief Keef’s Caribbean-flavored banger “Can You Be My Friend” slides in at number three. Rich Gang (Young Thug and Birdman)’s video for “Bit Bak,” and Open Mike Eagle and Paul White’s intriguing animated visual for “Dang Is Invincible” also fall in the top coveted five slots. Music from Eric Bellinger and Wale, Blac Youngsta and YFN Lucci, Jay IDK, Demrick, Nick Grant, and Page Kennedy also ushers in the workweek.

young m.a – “Kween”

Brooklyn’s Young M.A takes the crown with her new video, “Kween,” which, once again, finds her confronting her haters and asserting her dominance in the rap game. The video comes on the heels of her contribution to Casanova’s “Don’t Run (Remix)” with Fabolous, Dave East and Don Q. This time, she sprays her lyrical bullets over Jay Z’s Dynasty intro. With the Brooklyn skyline as the backdrop, the 20-something MC flashes her jewels as she spits over the Just Blaze-produced banger. Watch the video above.

ariana grande f. future – “everyday”

Future has been busy since dropping his HNDRXX project last week and now returns with a strange yet raunchy collaborative video for “Everyday” with pop singer du jour Ariana Grande, who (big surprise) has no problem confessing “he gives it to me everyday.” The song comes from Grande’s album, Dangerous Woman.

chief keef – “can you be my friend”

Hosted by DJ Amaris, Chief Keef’s latest single, “Can You Be My Friend” takes a dab of Caribbean flavor and mixes it up with a little bit of Hip Hop and a dash of pop.

Rich Gang (birdman & YOUNG THUG) – “bit bak”

Birdman and Young Thug tag team on the “Bit Bak” video under their Rich Gang moniker. Taken from the Flashy Lifestyle mixtape, the song is most likely a delay tactic for their collaborative Rich Gang album, Rich Gang: The Lifestyle 2, which was supposed to drop February 17. Until that surfaces, this is what we’ve got.

open mike eagle & Paul White – “Dang is invincible”

Beloved indie Hip Hop artist Open Mike Eagle and U.K. producer Paul White have once again teamed up for another project, but this time, it’s in the form of an animated video for “Dang Is Invincible.” The talented duo dropped Hella Personal Film Festival in 2016 and the visual is further evidence of their undeniable chemistry.

eric bellinger f. Wale- “treat yourself”

After a string of R&B covers of songs like Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” and Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You,” Eric Bellinger is back to self-promotion with a new single, “Treat Yourself” featuring Wale. The song comes ahead of his upcoming project, Eric B For President: Term 2, which is expected to arrive on March 20.

blac youngsta f. yfn lucci- “confuse me”

Blac Youngsta and YFN Lucci join lyrical forces for the single “Confuse Me,” featuring production from Nonstop Da Hitman. Throughout the song, he asserts he “has no love for no strangers” as he broods over the loss of an intimate relationship.

jay idk – “blame my friends (The Gang)”

Jay IDK’s new single, “Blame My Friends (The Gang),” represents the start of the next chapter in Jay IDK’s career as he rallies his squad and goes at the competition. With its light piano-laden beat and slow build up, the song eventually explodes into a raucous anthem about “money and hos,” which is apparently “all he knows.” Apparently, he’s on that B.I.G. tip.

Demrick f. reezy & Lil Debbie – “major later”

Produced by MLB, Demrick’s “Major Later” reels in some vocal assistance from the Bay Area’s pint-size rapper Lil Debbie and Reezy. With its bass heavy, trap-influenced beat, the song is both hard hitting and smooth at the same time. He’s simply just “killin’ ’em with the convo.” The song comes after the Cakes By The Pound Tour with Debbie and “Sign Language” video with Battle Axe Records’ Adlib.

Nick Grant & Tim Westwood – “Freestyle”

As South Carolina’s Nick Grant continues promoting his Return of the Cool project, he made a stop in the U.K., where he was a guest at Tim Westwood’s studio. In the video, he freestyles for nearly four minutes over Raekwon’s “Ice Cream.”

page kennedy – “torn pages”

Page Kennedy gets up close and personal on his newest single “Torn Pages” featuring Marsha Ambrosius, which he asserts is his most personal to date. The actor/rapper talks about his sex addiction and the wreckage it caused in his life.
