Produced by The FADER and Beats By Dre, a new short film featuring Lil Wayne serves as a “Love Letter To Nola,” the illustrious rapper’s hometown. In a mere one-minute, the Crescent City native talks about Louisiana’s deep sense of culture, feeling at home on stage in his city and being part of New Orleans’ musical fabric. Archival footage of Weezy as a kid in Hollygrove is also included in the brief video. Watch it above.

DJ Premier just announced a new label, TTT (To The Top), and the first order of business was to release an alternate version of Miguel’s “Damned,” which comes from the 2016 album,Wildheart.Titled “2 Lovin U,” the song features Preemo on all the cuts and offers a much needed uptempo and uplifting rhythm.

Your old droog f. Edan & Wiki – “Help”
Your Old Droog, Edan and Wiki cleansed the palates of countless Hip Hop fans who were subjected to the Target commercial featuring Lil Yachty and Carley Rae Jensen’s flip of the classic DJ EZ Rock and Rob Base’s “It Takes Two” with their own version of the duo’s “I Wanna Rock.” They followed up with “Help” and are back with a video for the track, which finds the trio cleaning up the New York City streets.
