Last month, Kodak Black made the statement that he was the “best rapper alive,” using the quote Lil Wayne has applied to himself for years. Now, the Florida rapper wants to strap on the gloves à la Chris Brown and Soulja Boy for the title claim as this beef continues to take on new dimensions.

In a video from inside a recording booth standing alongside A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Kodak Black issued his threats to the Young Money captain in hopes they too can cash in on the celebrity fight hype like Soulja and Breezy.

“Ay listen here, man. Tell Lil Wayne fight me, nahmsayin?,” said Kodak. “We finna get in the ring, we finna fight, me and Lil Wayne. I’m finna knock that stupid ass nigga out. And if he whoop me, he the best rapper alive, ya heard me?”

Boogie chimed in during the tough talk and says that he’ll put his jewelry up as a bet in support of Kodak, which only egged the 19-year-old on.

“Tell Lil Wayne fight me in the ring,  and I’m gon’ beat his stupid ass and I bet everything on it. Since Soulja Boy and Chris Brown doing it, I don’t even need no trainer. I don’t need no Floyd Mayweather, Adrien Broner. I’m finna beat Lil Wayne stupid ass, watch,” continued Kodak.

Okay, then.

Just to make things even stranger, another video has popped up of Kodak presumably walking around New York at night and randomly saying, “Lil Wayne can eat my ass” before talking to compatriots offscreen.

Tunechi has yet to return fire, verbal or otherwise, but it’s still early in the game. Stay tuned.
