At the very least, Big Sean is out to make Winter 2017 his — if not the entire year. After previously announcing a new album and subsequent tour, the G.O.O.D. Music torchbearer will now make his first-ever appearance on NBC’s famed Saturday Night Live come January 21.

Sean’s appearance follows another Hip Hop debut in A Tribe Called Quest’s much talked about performance in November 2016, and fans of the culture will also be privy to another SNL rookie who is bound to make headlines. Master of None star and co-creator Aziz Ansari will host the episode Sean will rock his I Decided records on, which most likely will include the lead single, “Bounce Back,” a HipHopDX 2016 Song of the Year. Ansari’s critically acclaimed Netflix series also has its fair share of decorations in just one season of existence, winning a Primetime Emmy, a Peabody and a Critics’ Choice Television Award.

The buzz should prove helpful for Sean’s upcoming campaign, as his fourth studio album will be released via Def Jam a couple weeks later on February 3, nearly a year removed from his third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
