As soon as Nicki Minaj announced she’s back on the market, a flurry of people chimed in to let her know that they are available if she needs a rebound from Meek Mill. Safaree Samuels, Nicki’s longtime boo before she was with the MMG rapper, shared a simple, “Hey big head” tweet (he didn’t tag her, but we all get the point).

A rep for Safaree reportedly spoke with TMZ to give more insight into SB’s feelings amidst the news that his ex-girl is single again. The source says Safaree’s “open to rekindling things” and “never stopped loving Nicki.”

The Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star is reportedly glad that Nicki’s moved on from Meek. He believes the relationship was better for the Philly rapper, as is evidenced by Minaj not releasing an album in two years with little more music than a few singles.

Safaree and Nicki had a rough breakup after more than a decade of dating. He has been open about how difficult the split was and said Meek was partially to blame for them going separate ways. In Meek’s beef with The Game, SB seemed to co-sign the Compton rapper’s claims that Meek snitched on Safaree cheating on Minaj. He even threatened to take Nicki to court for royalties from The Pinkprint, a case that he later dropped.
