Hours after Atlanta rapper Yung Mazi was shot while at an area Waffle House, he has provided fans with an update on the status of his health.
In a tweet sent earlier today (December 27), which has since been deleted, Yung Mazi credited God for making him bulletproof.
“God made me bulletproof,” Yung Mazi tweeted, along with a pair of praying hand emojis.
According to 11 Alive, Yung Mazi and a group of friends were preparing to order food around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning when several shots were fired inside the Buckhead Waffle House.

The musician was reportedly shot in the chest and his condition is unknown since police haven’t identified where his friends took him after leaving the scene. The shooter remains unknown.
This doesn’t serve as the first time Yung Mazi, who has collaborated with Kevin Gates on several occasions, has been targeted.
Just last year, Mazi appeared to make light of being shot at after he was struck “a couple more times.”
“I just got shot a couple more times. Three more times. It’s nothing. We do it [mucho], man. I done got shot 10 times,” he said while resting in a hospital bed last year.
