Although Jay Z is undoubtedly in the headphones of many athletes ahead of a game or match, his value as an in-your-face motivational speaker might be under question. The Roc Nation Sports boss was seen giving a pep talk to one of his many signees, Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant prior to the matchup against the New York Giants Sunday (December 11), but the wide receiver’s team ended up losing anyway.
The Cowboys, sitting comfortably atop the entire NFC now with a record of 11-2, had already clinched a valued playoff berth, but still wanted to vanquish their conference foes. Bryant, who has been an electrifying force for the Cowboys, did not have his best game last night. The typically sure-handed Bryant caught just one pass for eight yards, unusual for the favored target of quarterback Dak Prescott.
