DMX is hitting the headlines again this week, after being hit with a paternity suit by a woman claiming X is the father of her 4-year-old daughter, the New York Daily News reports.

The married rapper has been ordered by a judge in Buffalo to pay Davita Oden $5,000 a month in child support for her 4-year-old daughter Jada, whom she believes is X’s offspring.

The paternity case is still pending, but Oden’s lawyer is seeking $10,000 more per month.

“DMX did the DNA test. He admitted paternity, then he tried to deny it,” told Oden’s attorney, Suzanne Kimberly Bracker.

A decision on the case is expected in a few weeks.

Ja Rule has denied claims that a member of his crew assaulted a woman in a New York nightclub last week.

The rapper, born Jeffrey Atkins, was allegedly in Plumm nightclub with his entourage last Thursday (May 11), when one of his crew slapped a woman in the face. The whole group were reportedly thrown out of the club after the altercation.

However, Ja’s publicist has slammed the allegations, claiming that The Inc. rapper was in fact in a studio recording tracks for his new album, and nowhere near the club at the time of the incident.

Contactmusic reports that a source told how the crew were ‘harassing models all night long’, until one woman objected and argued with the rapper’s friend.

“His friend slapped the girl so hard, everyone saw it,” the source told Page Six.

The entourage, which is said to have included Ja Rule, were escorted out of the club by security.
