2016 American Music Awards Red Carpet Arrivals

Los Angeles, CA -

Ahead of the anticipated Kendrick Lamar/Maroon 5 performance, a Tony! Toni! Toné! unfilled prophecy of Los Angeles rain couldn’t prevent the 2016 American Music Awards red carpet from going down with plenty of star talent.

The annual award show leaves the winner categories up to the fans and while it largely focuses heavy within the pop realm, the Hip Hop and R&B worlds still lay claim to representation. The likes of Drake, Beyonce, Rihanna, Future, Fetty Wap and several others are among the 2016 American Music Awards nominees and while none of those elite superstars graced the outside of the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles (which shielded the fancy garbs with a rain tarp) several others, including co-host Jay Pharoah and DJ Khaled — fresh off his Gold-certification dinner ceremony — showed up for the fans.
