Eminem’s wife has filed a response to the rapper’s divorce request, asking for financial support, attorney fees, and custody of their 10-year-old daughter.
Kim’s lawyer, Michael J. Smith, filed the counter-complaint last week, but the papers shed no light on why the couple split. Kim is asking Eminem to pay for the mortgage, insurance costs and utility bills for the couple’s home, and she is seeking full custody and child support for their beloved Hailie Jade Scott.
The Detroit rapper, born Marshall Mathers III, remarried ex-wife Kim in January this year, only to file for divorce on April 5 – just 82 days after their reunion.

Nas is finally to hook up with longtime friend and top producer, Scott Storch, for his new album. The pair have spoken about working together for some time, but due to conflicting work schedules, the two have only been able to collaborate on work for other artists.
“He’s been a friend for many years, and we’ve worked in the capacity of doing cameos on songs for other people’s projects,” said Storch. “However, owing to geographical or scheduling issues, we had never got it together for a straight up Nas album. So this is the first.”
“And now that he’s aligned forces with Jay-Z, it’s an even cooler situation.”
