Hate it or love it, mumble rap is taking the nation by storm and 21 Savage is one of those leading the charge. The Atlanta rapper got a major co-sign from Drake today (October 22) on his 24th birthday. Drizzy says 21 Savage has “all the juice right now” as he shares lyrics to 21’s Savage Mode cut “No Heart” in the caption for a post with the young MC posting with a stack of bundled bills. He also shares a reminder about OVO Radio tomorrow (October 23) on Apple Music airing at 6 p.m. EST. So possibly he has something special with 21 up his sleeve.
Drake has given similar co-signs to up-and-comers in the game, including when he posted a picture of himself dancing to Kodak Black’s “SWRV” before the Florida rapper hit the spotlight. Earl Sweatshirt questioned the Toronto superstar’s intentions, asking if he really wants to support new artists or is just trying to feed off their success.
