Solange slays this week’s album sales with A Seat at the Table debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200. Drake slips to the third spot on the chart this week and Dave East makes his chart debut with his Kairi Chanel project.

Solange Earns Seat At The Winners Table

Solange’s A Seat at the Table earns the ethereal singer a #1 album. The LP sold 72,000 equivalent album units and was streamed more than 35 million times across all platforms. This comes after her sister, Beyonce, had a #1 album earlier this year with LEMONADE. The Knowles sisters are the third set of siblings to each have a top-charting album, following Michael and Janet Jackson and Master P and Silkk The Shocker, according to Billboard.

Drake Continues His Success

Drake’s VIEWS lands at #3 in its 23rd week on the chart. In the Top 10, only Twenty One Pilot’s Blurryface has had a longer run on the list. VIEWS sold nearly 47,000 units and was streamed 51 million times this sales cycle.
