Republican presidential candidate — and one of the most hated men in Hip Hop — Donald Trump has yet another reason for people to despise him after a video from 2005 leaks where the mogul graphically describes his escapades with women.
In the three-minute clip, obtained by The Washington Post and posted yesterday (October 7), Trump is speaking with Billy Bush, who was at the time the host of “Access Hollywood.” The current presidential candidate describes making moves on a married woman and being disappointed that he wasn’t able to bag her. He then describes how his celebrity status gives him special power over women. He says he can kiss whoever he wants, whenever he wants and can “grab them by the pussy.”
After the leak, Trump took to Facebook to apologize for the comments and say he is not the same person who participated in the harmful banter.
“I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I’ve regret and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them,” he says, encouraging people to not let this become a distraction to the larger issues at hand in the country and says his words are not as harmful as allegations that Bill Clinton assaulted women and his opposing presidential candidate, Hillary, assisted in the cover-up. He asks his followers to prepare for the Presidential Debate tomorrow (October 9).

On Facebook, Trump’s supporters echoed his sentiments, whittling the private conversation down to “locker room talk” and saying that there are more serious problems to worry about.
But others weren’t hearing any of it. #TrumpTape and then #TrumpTapes were trending on Twitter yesterday through this morning as many expressed outrage at his misogynistic behavior.
Some said the “locker room talk” excuse does not fly. Other reactions remind us of Trump reportedly not paying his taxes and decry the other excuses the Republican Party makes for its leader.
