There have been several movies that chronicle the coming of age of young males in America, now a new movie takes a look at the lives of young women. On the Outs, a provocative, hard-hitting look at three
young girls from the same tough neighborhood who all make the wrong
choices is set to hit video stores May 9.

The teens depicted in the film have yet to reach the age of majority. Anny Mariano plays Suzette, the sheltered, 15-year-old
daughter of a single mother whose first crush on the wrong boy has
life-changing repercussions. Judy Marte (Raising Victor Vargas) is Oz, a 17-year-old drug dealer with her own corner and a reputation built on street credibility. Paola Mendoza, who is also the co-creator of Outs, is Marisol, a crack-addled, 17-year-old, single mother struggling with her addiction and to retain
custody of her child.

The three eventually cross paths in juvenile hall before continuing their individual journeys.
