No stranger to rap beef, 50 Cent recently discussed Drake versus Meek Mill, during an appearance on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs Podcast, as he revealed that he doesn’t detect any “threat level” with the pair.
In regards to there being no threat present with either of the two, 50 used Drake’s “Back To Back” Grammy nomination to prove his point. According to the Queens lyricist, the Grammy nod proves that the record was seen as art and not a threat.
50 later suggested that openly admitting to being a fan of Meek Mill early on was “a mistake.”
“I just don’t see none of them doing that…I can’t really see a threat level with [them]…When you see them give Drake an award,” 50 Cent said. “When he gets the award for the record means they viewed it as if it was art for the first time. The competitive nature of our culture in Hip Hop, they viewed it as art. And honored it. Because they didn’t see the threat level in what he was saying. Whenever I’m competing they think it’s gonna spill out on the streets. Some shit is gonna happen. Because they seen shit happen.

“It’s a mistake because I could have let it be so quiet that you don’t know I like him [Meek Mill] or he’s cool,” he added. “And then when that happens to him it just happens to him. Cause I watched this kid from YouTube clips. In the neighborhood rapping. And I liked it cause it was the raw element.”
50 Cent took a brief break from all things Hip Hop during the podcast to discuss the allure of Donald Trump. He shared his belief that a great deal of the support Trump has received comes from those who have become leary of politicians.
“It’s okay to be politically incorrect, and that’s what he doing,” the rapper said. “And I think the people don’t trust politicians…I think Kanye should run. I don’t care if he lose. I just want him to run…People don’t trust politicians, so they look at him and say ‘It’s something different.’ And even when he makes mistakes, he says he’s just being honest.”
Towards the end of the Drink Champs Podcast, 50 Cent referred to French Montana and his crew as “suckas” for recording, and later giving him footage of DJ Khaled’s mother, during his feud with Khaled and Fat Joe.

“What made me look at French early on a little sideways was when I had my issues with Joe and them back then with Khaled,” 50 said. “They actually taped it. When you see Khaled’s mother sleeping on the thing and it says ‘a psychic told me.’ French and them actually taped it. You see what I’m saying? And they sent it to me. This is the crews they running around with now. So, I look at them like they suckas…I don’t care about that really. It’s just that’s what it is…It’s like you belong with those suckas, sucka. It don’t matter to me.”
