Every time Jeezy go out, you know he gotta show out and he did just that on his recently released summer smash, “Magic City Monday,” the new D. Rich-produced single featuring 2 Chainz and Future which is the first taste from his upcoming, yet-untitled ninth studio album.
Last night at House of Macau in Hollywood following the 2016 BET Awards, Jeezy and his longtime consultant Karen Civil flexed the power of Def Jam’s extensively talented roster and put on a special “Magic City Monday” dinner for a select member of guests where HipHopDX was also proud to be in attendance.
Guests dined on a custom menu of items including chicken satay and lettuce wraps, salt and pepper and spicy prawns and vegetable fried rice while the event was also sanctioned by Jeezy’s trusted tequila brand Avion, to which he half-jokingly told everyone, “You’re either drinking Avion or water!”
Among the partygoers were Future, YG, Fabolous, Angie Martinez, Jesse Williams (fresh off a powerful humanitarian award acceptance speech), Lil Durk, Slim 400, John Wall, Andre Berto, DJ Clue, Shanti Das, Zoey Dollaz and Washington Redskins safety Duke Ihenacho.
