VIP packages for Drake’s “Summer Sixteen Tour” have reportedly been canceled.

Entertainment Weekly reports that an industry source has revealed that Canadian crooner Drake has put a stop on VIP packages for his upcoming, “Summer Sixteen Tour.” As a result, there will be no meet and greets for eager Drake fans.

“Scheduling issues” were reportedly to blame for the cancellation.

The VIP package, which was available for purchase for $1,000, consisted of seats in the first five rows, various merchandise, and a meet and greet with Drake.

News of the alleged cancellation of VIP packages for Drake’s tour comes days after singer Christina Grimmie was shot and killed at a meet and greet in Orlando, Florida.

Shortly after news of the tragic shooting spread, Selena Gomez, a close friend to Grimmie, canceled a meet and greet with fans in Miami.

Drake has yet to respond publicly to news of the meet and greet cancellations.

The “Summer Sixteen Tour” is scheduled to kickoff July 20 in Austin, Texas.
