Months after the tragic accident that resulted in the deaths of Ohio rapper Kaly Ko and two others, authorities have confirmed that Kaly Ko was drunk when the accident took place.
According to ABC News, the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has revealed that the musician had a blood alcohol content of more than 2 ½ times the state’s legal limit, which is .08.
Kaly Ko was driving the wrong way up Interstate 75 when he collided into another vehicle, head-on. The couple in the other vehicle were also killed as a result of the accident.
A person in a third vehicle involved in the accident did survive.

Prior to receiving official confirmation this week that Kaly Ko was driving while under the influence at the time of the accident, his friend and Cincinnati Bengals player Dre Kirkpatrick revealed that he saw the rapper drinking prior to the deadly wreck.
Similarly in 2012, an aspiring rapper named Ervin McKinness was killed in a drunk driving accident. Minutes prior to the deadly accident, which killed all five men in the vehicle, McKinness sent out the following tweet:
“Drunk af going 120 drifting corners #FuckIt YOLO”
