Dutch photographer Dana Lixenberg is suing Spotify for copyright infringement over its use of a picture she took of the late Notorious B.I.G., according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lixenberg has taken photographs of plenty notable musicians including Prince, Tupac Shakur and Whitney Houston and has also been recognized for her work in Rolling Stone, Vibe and The New Yorker, among others.

In a complaint filed with at the California federal court on Friday (June 3) Lixenberg states, “Not content to solely rip off the musicians on whose backs Spotify has built an 8 billion dollar company, Spotify has expanded its efforts to also include ripping off photographers.”

She’s demanding profits, statutory damages, costs and attorneys’ fees for the image that was supplied by All Media Network, who is also listed as a co-defendant.

“A comparison of the Subject Photograph with the Accused Image reveals that the elements, composition, colors, arrangement, subject, lighting, angle, and overall appearance of the images are identical or at least substantially similar,” the complaint continues.
