Def Jam is like a hip hop institution when it comes to molding and creating artists known for their longevity.

From veteran LL Cool J to R&B newcomer Ne-Yo, Def Jam is still going strong.

Several new and the old artists on the label are set to appear on the Oxygen Network’sCustom Concert series this March. Both Ne-Yo and LL will tape their performances March 3 and the program will air March 18 at 10:30 p.m. EST.

Viewers will get the opportunity to customize the set list.

Beginning February 17, viewers can log onto “http://www.oxygen.com” to submit song requests and questions.

Ne-Yo’s debut, In My Own Words, drops February 28, and LL Cool J’s 12th album, on the Def Jam label Todd Smith, is set to drop March 21.
