Chris Brown’s name was once again in court on Tuesday (May 24) after Nia Guzman — the mother of Brown’s one-year-old daughter Royalty — requested that the singer’s custody over their child become restricted because of alleged drug use and gang affiliation.
According to reports on TMZ, Guzman claimed that Chris Brown was not fit to care for their daughter without strict supervision, allegedly requesting “a monitor and more.”
Nevertheless, C. Breezy walked away victorious, meaning the current status quo remains. As per the existing order, Brown gets 12 days per month with Royalty and does not have to be supervised.
Nia Guzman is also gunning for an increase in child support. As it currently stands, Guzman receives $2,500 per month but reportedly wants that upped to nearly $16,000.
