A Hungarian composer is suing Kanye West for $2.5 million, claiming that the rapper used one of his songs on “New Slaves” without his permission.
TMZ reports the news that Gabor Presser is taking Yeezy to court for the cut from Yeezusand says that West asked permission to use the song “Gyöngyhajú Lány,” which is performed by the group Omega.
However, Presser says that a formal deal was never finalized. West sent him a $10,000 check for the rights to the song, but he never cashed the money.
