Broward County, FL

Legal woes continue for Kodak Black, as the Florida rapper was brought to Broward County jail yesterday (May 18) for eight charges including robbery, false imprisonment, marijuana possession and driving without a driver’s license. This, according to the Sheriff’s Office of Broward County.

Black, whose government name is Dieuson Octave, committed the offenses last year and was now taken into custody reportedly because of open warrants.

The 18-year-old was arrested last month after taking police on a chase. The law enforcement officers approached his car after reportedly witnessing him purchase marijuana. After the chase, he was booked on weapons and marijuana charges.

Kodak Black is set to go on the “Parental Advisory Tour” with Lil Uzi Vert this summer.
