Redman is following up his Mudface album with a collaboration with rising producer Jayceeoh. The duo are creating music together under the group name 1000volts, according to a press release.
After connecting in Croatia last year, Redman and Jayceeoh found they had chemistry and released the producer’s “Turn Me Up Some.”
1000volts’ first release is “I’m Gone,” which features Trae Tha Truth. The group is preparing to release more music and announce live shows.

Redman is also working on the sequel to his 1996 album Muddy Waters and a follow-up to the film How High, which he produced and directed.
Jayceeoh, who is known for blurring the line between traditional Hip Hop and dance music, is coming off a series of performances including his debut set at Coachella. He also inked a deal for a residency at The Light in Las Vegas.
