Rumors and social media posts alluded to a shooting at YG and AD’s “Thug” video shoot in Compton Sunday evening. According to TMZ, production for the visual adaptation came to a halt after shots rang out.

No one was hurt during the ordeal nor were any suspects arrested. However, 30 shell casings from an AK-47 and a handgun were found on the scene. Though detained for a short period, YG and his crew cooperated with authorities and claim no involvement in the incident.

HipHopDX attempted to reach out to Compton Police on Monday morning after getting a tip regarding the shooting Sunday night. A representative for the department denied a shooting took place and were told that no information would be released per pending investigation if anything actually did happened.
