Louisville, KY

Over the weekend, people associated with Boosie Badazz and Kevin Gates reportedly got into a physical confrontation on stage.

The scuffle apparently went down in Louisville, Ky., where both rappers were performing their Derby Takeover Pt. 2 sets on Friday, May 6.

Although the leaked video footage isn’t totally clear, there does appear to be a melee on stage. Rumors say that Boosie’s Badazz Ent. and Gates’ BWA fought, resulting in Gates’ DJ Ron getting stomped out.

Boosie seemed undeterred from the scuffle, insisting for the show to go on.

“Clear the stage, I ain’t stopping shit,“ Boosie exclaimed before going into his hit single “Wipe Me Down.”

Boosie and Gates themselves don’t appear to fight in the video.

XXL reports that the two camps have bad blood dating back to 2009, when an affiliate of Gates named Nussie was murdered and one man claimed that Boosie ordered the hit. Boosie was found innocent of such charges in 2012. Gates and Boosie also reportedly have a common friend, the incarcerated Lee Lucas, and have avoided beef because of him.
