Snoop Dogg shares lessons learned from Prince.

Nearly one month after the untimely passing of Prince, Snoop Dogg spoke on the late singer, during a newly-released interview with People.com. Snoop says he was taught the art of seduction by observing Prince, an artist he says was able to make music that appealed to both men and women.

“He’s the first one who told us and showed us what a ménage-à-trois was. We didn’t know!” Snoop Dogg said. “We would see him with two women and, man, the things he did. Sometimes he wouldn’t even make love to a woman. He would make love to their mind, without even touching their body. I take a little bit of him wherever I go. He showed us how to seduce a woman; make music that felt good to women and appealed to men as well.”

Snoop also touched on his 2007 record, “Sexual Eruption” (also known as “Sensual Seduction”), which featured a seemingly Prince-inspired music video. In regards to the visual, the Long Beach lyricist boldly declared that he was Prince in the video.

“I was motherf—ing Prince in that video. His music and his persona will continue to go on and on,” he said.

Snoop Dogg serves as one of a number of artists who have shared their thoughts and memories of Prince, following his death. In an essay The Roots’ Questlove penned for Rolling Stone, he declared that Prince “was more Hip Hop than anyone.”
