The RIAA has announced its certifications for April and Rihanna comes away big after her “Work” single featuring Drake is certified triple platinum.
Her ANTIalbum receives a double platinum plaque after selling its first million copies in the first 15 hours after its release.
Desiigner’s “Panda” single was certified platinum Tuesday (May 3). The cut has been the subject of numerous remixes, including by Lupe Fiasco, Fabolous and Papoose. Kanye West signed the Brooklyn, New York rapper to his G.O.O.D. Music label after the song was interpolated on The Life of Pablo.
Other certifications include Post Malone’s “White Iverson” and Flo Rida’s “My House” recognized as double platinum. Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t,” Kevin Gates’ “2 Phones” and Tory Lanez’s “Say It” all received platinum certifications for one million unit sales.
