EFFEN Vodka profoundly disappointed with 50 Cent.

The fallout from a video 50 Cent posted, which shows him poking fun of a disabled man, has continued.

AllHipHop.com has learned exclusively that EFFEN Vodka, a brand 50 has promoted heavily in recent months, is disappointed with the Queens rapper’s actions. A statement from the brand is as follows:

“EFFEN is a brand that considers social responsibility the highest of priorities, and 50 Cent’s recent actions are in no way representative of EFFEN® Vodka or our brand values. We are taking this situation extremely seriously and have communicated our profound disappointment to 50 Cent directly.”

50 Cent has since apologized for the video, which was posted on Instagram earlier this week.

“While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am truly sorry for offending the young man,” 50 Cent said in a statement issued to Page Six. “It was certainly not my intent to insult him or the disability community, which is a source of great strength in America. I have apologized personally to him and his family.”

The family has reportedly chosen to accept 50 Cent’s apology, and will not take further legal action.
