The University of Georgia has chosen not to pay Fetty Wap, following his performance at the college.
New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap served as the latest Hip Hop artist to perform at the University Of Georgia, but according to Online Athens, as of today (May 4) the musician has not received compensation for his performance.
Fetty Wap was to be paid $100,000 for his performance at UGA, but after numerous complaints from students about the show, the rapper was over an hour late and performed for less than an hour, his payment has been withheld.
“We had concerns with the brevity,” UGA Director of Student Affairs Communications Stan Jackson said, according to Online Athens.

The school has contacted RGF Productions, the company that manages Fetty Wap, with the hopes that a resolution will be met.
Last month, Ludacris performed at UGA during a scrimmage game at Athens’ Sanford Stadium.
As of now, it is unclear what resolution UGA and Fetty Wap are hoping to reach.
