Back in early February, Jay Electronica hosted a Periscope session during which he took aim at both Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.

“Look, I like the one Kendrick song with Gunplay, ‘Cartoons and Cereal,’ but other than that we don’t know what that nigga talking about,” Jay Electronica said at the time.

“Kendrick is my son,” the New Orleans, Louisiana rapper later said of his collaborator on Big Sean’s “Control.” “Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes that he could be me.”

While answering questions on 50 Cent, Jay Elec said: “50 Cent, at one point he was a good rapper. Right now he got the potential to be a good rapper, but he’s on some sucker shit and we will slap his fucking eyeballs loose, we’ll slap 50 Cent’s fucking eyeballs loose out his scalp.”

In response to Jay Electronica’s diss aimed at Kendrick Lamar, Top Dawg Entertainment President Dave Free called Jay Elec a “desperate housewife.”

Meanwhile, 50 Cent said that he didn’t know who Jay Electronica was when asked via Instagram for a response.

However, in an apparent change of perspective, Jay Electronica sent a peace offering to both Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent during a lengthy Twitter spree last night (April 23).

“lastly, peace to K dot and TDE because regardless to whom or what we are brothers fighting the same enemy. forgive my past transgressions” he tweeted.
