Cam’ron displays his love for Max B in a recent video clip of the rapper showing off where the wave movement was birthed, in a video clip presented by SupportMaxB.com.
“I’m from the building where the wave was invented,” Cam says. “Downstairs, under me. Ask Bigavel. Y’all call him Bigavel Max B. I know him as Charlie Rambo. I’m from the building where the wave was invented and it was invented after I was born.”
That location, revealed in a post from Max B‘s official Instagram account, is a 7-floor apartment building situated in central Harlem, New York on 101 W. 140th St. between Malcolm X Boulevard and across from the Fred Samuel Playground, home to the Big L mural.

“No disrespect to Bigavel cause that’s my brother,” the Dipset rapper continues. “That’s my little brother. I just spoke to Max motherfucking two weeks ago. That’s my brother. Max’ll tell you though. I’ve been outside. I’m from the building where the wave was invented!”
The location can be seen in various Max B videos in front of the Harlem Up Deli Market as well as the wave master sitting atop a stop light on the corner of 101 W. & Malcolm X Boulevard/Lenox Avenue.
To make the place where the wave was invented home will run apartment seekers over $3,000 a month. It’s no secret that Harlem, New York has been undergoing gentrification for the past few years which is grossly reflected in the cost of rent.

Cam’Ron and Bigavel share a long history, with the incarcerated rapper almost signing to Dipset.
Max B was found guilty in 2009 of murder conspiracy and robbery charges. He was sentenced to 75 years in prison which he’s currently serving at the New Jersey State Prison.
There is currently a “Free Max B” petition to help overturn his conviction.
