Hillary Clinton discusses Beyonce, Donald Trump, and her goals if she were president, during interview with The Breakfast Club.

Precisely one day before the New York Primary, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton appeared on one of New York City’s most popular radio shows, The Breakfast Club. For nearly 30 minutes, Clinton discussed her plans for the country if she were to become president, why Donald Trump scares her, and more.

When asked if fellow presidential candidate Donald Trump scares her, Clinton responded by stating that the real estate tycoon is “donkey of the decade,” a reference to The Breakfast Club’s Donkey of the Day segment, which Clinton has appeared on.

“I think he’s the donkey of the decade,” Hillary Clinton said. “He does scare me. Because what he’s saying that he would is wrong for our country. It’s not only offensive to people…it’s dangerous. He’s setting people against each other. He’s inciting violence.”

When asked how her policies would affect the average person if she were to become president, Clinton touched on fixing the education system and providing more jobs.

“I think that they would be really good for you and for everybody else,” she said. ‘Because what we’re gonna do is build on the progress we’ve gotten under President Obama. And I really give him a lot of credit for getting things done in the face of unbelievable hostility from the Congress. But now we gotta go further. So, we gotta get more jobs with rising income. Most Americans haven’t had a raise in a long time. We have to fix the schools, so that every kid, no matter where that kid lives, regardless of the zip code gets a good education…We gotta get the Affordable Care Act to work for everybody.”

In response to mispronouncing Beyonce’s name during a Q&A last year, Clinton recalled being “really tired,” and later spoke on being amazed by a performance by Beyonce at the White House.

“I was really tired that day,” Clinton said. “What can I say…I went to Michelle Obama’s birthday party and Beyonce performed. It was so amazing. We were in the East Room of the White House.”
