He breaks the news along with acknowledging that The Life of Pablo is projected to top Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart when the official sales figures are released Monday. The project has yet to be released commercially and it is the first album to reach the top spot based on streaming count.

“Thank you to everybody who made The Life of Pablo the number 1 album in the world!!!” he says in the series of posts. “I also wanted to point out that it’s the first album to go number 1 off of streaming!!!”

West last toured in 2013 to promote his Yeezus album. Kendrick Lamar served as the opening act.
