Drake Releases “Pop Style” With Jay Z & Kanye West
Drake took to Twitter this past Tuesday (April 5) to unveil his newest single, “Pop Style.” The cut, which is reported to feature on the Toronto rapper’s forthcoming album Views From The 6, features guest appearances from Jay Z and Kanye West as “The Throne,” a reference to the pair’s 2011 collaborative album, Watch The Throne.
Drake Drops “One Dance” With Wizkid & Kyla
In addition to releasing the aforementioned “Pop Style,” Drake also let loose another single via Twitter this past Tuesday (April 5). The Young Money rapper dropped off “One Dance” featuring Kyla and Nigerian artist Wizkid, who Drizzy previously collaborated with on “Ojuelegba (Remix)” with Skepta. The cut samples Crazy Cousinz’s remix of Paleface and Kyla’s “Do You Mind.”
Meek Mill Takes On Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” and Desiigner’s “Panda”
Meek Mill released his take on Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” and Desiigner’s “Panda” via SoundCloud earlier this week. Considering Meek Mill’s well-documented rift with Drake, it’s interesting to see the Philly rapper go in over one of Drizzy’s most recent singles. With regards to Desiigner’s “Panda,” Meek Mill merely adds his name to the long list of artists who have tackled the popular track since its release.
