Kanye West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” & “Pt. 2” Continues To Rack Up Plays
Kanye West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” and “Pt. 2,” two cuts off Yeezy’s his seventh solo album The Life Of Pablo, continue to rack up plays this week. The first of the two tracks features Kid Cudi while the latter features a guest appearance from new G.O.O.D. Music signee Desiigner. The versions posted to HipHopDX appear to have been pulled from Kanye West’s “Yeezy Season 3” event at Madison Square Garden, where he premiered TLOP in conjunction with his latest Yeezy fashion line.
Chance The Rapper Fires Back At Spike Lee After Director Calls Rapper “A Fraud”
While speaking at Northwestern University in Chicago this past Tuesday (March 8), Spike Lee called Chance The Rapper “a fraud.” The Chicago-based rapper later fired back at the Chi-Raq director via Twitter, calling Lee “lame” and “a liar.”

“Come on now This guy promoting this offensive unsuccessful flop of a movie … about the Southside…in fucking Evanston…” Chance said in a series of tweets, referencing the town in which the college is located in. “And then get mad when students at the screening challenge him on his sexist, and RACIST movie and he wanna point the finger at me. Boy. You are a lame. But more importantly a liar. Now stop tweeking for I get to releasing audio of you begging me to be in that trash ass movie.”
Cardi B Drops New Mixtape, “Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1”
Cardi B, star of VH1’s docu-series Love & Hip Hop: New York, released her new mixtape this past Monday (March 7). Titled Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1, the 17-track tape features guest appearances from Haitian V and Lisa Evers.
“This mixtape signifies jumping out the window, taking a risk,” Cardi B said of the project. “The process has been amazing, but putting out my music for the world to hear is a super scary feeling, I just hope the world loves it as much as I do! I hope they listen to the words, and learn from the lessons and experiences I talk about in my music! I really hope they appreciate it! At the end of the day, I want young girls, and women to listen to the message! Its really simple, you can make it being yourself!”
