DJ Sense The Trendsetter and Sarah ViVan caught up with 50 Cent on #StreetzIzWatchin on Shade45 yesterday (February 20) and 50 Cent gave his thoughts on Kanye West’s latest GOOD Music signee Desiigner‘s uncanny similarities to Future.
Desiigner’s song “Panda” is sampled on The Life of Pablo cut “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2”
“I’m not sure he’s going to be able to make another record because he’s only recorded two songs,” 50 says. “But, the one that he did reminded me of Future and now how good is that?”
“If Future told me he was uncomfortable with it maybe I would be like, ‘You did kind of bite that style,” the G-Unit boss adds. “For me I’ve had artists that reminded me of me like Troy Ave and them.”

The Queens, New York native says that he doesn’t mind artists emulating his style because he wants for that style to survive long after he’s done making music.
“It will be there in our culture,” the Power producer says. “At the end of the day you look at it and go: some things you shouldn’t address it. You shouldn’t even make mention of it.”
50 Cent sat front row at Kanye’s “Yeezy Season 3” sold-out Madison Square Garden fashion show and says that he really enjoyed the Chicago rapper’s The Life of Pablo project which made it’s premiere at the event.
