Ice Cube leaves the Grammy Awards after presenting Kendrick Lamar with a Grammy.
Alongside his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., actor/rapper Ice Cube presented Kendrick Lamar with a Grammy for Best Rap Album for To Pimp A Butterfly. The award was given out early in the awards show, which took place last night (February 15).
According to Ice Cube, for those who may have assumed that he was planning on staying for the rest of the show, they’re out their “batty ass mind.”
“If any of y’all thought I was gonna stay through that whole three hour bullshit, you out your batty ass mind. I’m back in the car, bitch,” Ice Cube said in an Instagram video, while making his exit from the awards show.

Snoop Dogg was another artist who opted for the comfort of his own home as opposed to the Staples Center. The Long Beach lyricist uploaded a video of himself and his dog watching Adele perform, during the Grammys.
“I got seats to the Grammys, but fuck that. I’m sitting in my mothafuckin’ house watching this shit. Me and my nigga,” Snoop Dogg said in his Instagram video.
