Pharrell has announced his co-ownership in G-Star RAW, a jeans company.

“On top of my business,” Pharrell wrote on Twitter today (February 9). “As of today, proud to be a co-owner of @GStarRAW.”

The Virginia Beach, Virginia businessman will be charged with helping the company with its collections, advertising and business strategy.

“G-Star is an independently minded and forward thinking company,” Pharrell says on G-Star’s website. “I believe they will be the definitive jeans brand of the 21st century. I am looking forward to be part of that mission and to co-create G-Star’s future.”
