Kanye West’s “Famous” is now available for streaming as a single on Spotify and Apple Music.
This comes a month after West claimed that The Life of Pablo album would never be available for sale and “never never never be on Apple.” The song, “Famous,” is the fourth track on the album and features Rihanna and Swizz Beatz.
The entire The Life of Pablo album is still available only on TIDAL, which West is a parter of. Upon its release in February, the LP reportedly helped double the subscriptions for the streaming service, which was offering a free trial.

In a series of posts on Twitter, West expresses his desire for people to support TIDAL and says The Life of Pablo will remain on the streaming service. He continues that the album will not be available on Apple, probably meaning streaming on Apple Music and purchase at iTunes.
“This was made with love,” the rapper writes. “Only God can judge me. So I only expect love back!!! My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal. Please to all my friends fans and music lovers. Sign up to Tidal now.”
He says that he will continue his G.O.O.D. Fridays music series where he releases new music every Friday. West says that he has more music with Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug to be released. Both rappers appear on The Life of Pablo.
“Also all Good Fridays songs will be on Tidal,” West says. “Me and Kendrick got 40 songs and me and Young Thug got 40 songs. 40/40 club!!!”

The series of posts started after West apparently read Pitchfork‘s review of the album. The publication gave The Life of Pablo a 9/10 rating, which he expresses disagreement with.
“Pitchfork, the album is a 30 out of 10,” he says. “Puff Daddy is the most important cultural figure in my life. His influence means everything to me. To Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and any other white publication. Please do not comment on black music anymore. I love love love white people but you don’t understand what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves and make it this far. The system is designed for colored people to fail and one of our only voices is music. One of our only ways out is music.”
