Future continues his music industry onslaught. His next project, EVOL was announced today (February 4), less than a month since his previous release Purple Reign. #FutureHive has clearly captivated pop culture, and the best example of the Atlanta rapper’s commercial prominence is the presence of the Shutterstock cover art for Dirty Sprite 2 creeping into a Robitussin ad campaign.
Three spots have been released thus far, one of which you can see below. It features two women eating then one woman essentially coughs up the Dirty Sprite 2 cover art. HipHopDX reached out to Future to gauge his reaction to the spot. While he was unavailable to comment directly, a representative says the Robitussin’s campaign “shows the movement’s influence” and that “overall it’s a big look for the culture of Hip Hop and a major breakthrough.”
DX also reached out to Robitussin for a comment regarding the campaign. As of press time, the company has yet to respond.

There’s no similarity, you dumb twats! God, hire better “journalists”. Slow news day?
Ha what? Talk about stretching DX
HHDX u guys were better off reporting stock news or even the weather report for the next 5 days as oppose to reporting this bullshit that u know was strictly click bait and i’m pretty sure Robitussin is fully aware on what dirty sprite is and would stay clear of any association to it
Sorry Bush, you’re completely wrong here. They did this intentionally. Plus, whether Robitussin, Dirty Sprite or Actavis… all of them are still drugs.
Bro, has it ever occurred to you that maybe YOU”RE on drugs ?
I agree. It’s pretty clear this was intentional and it’s incredibly irresponsible.
