Big Sean’s #HealFlintsKids fundraiser has achieved a monetary milestone.
The campaign, which started on January 21, reached the landmark figure of $50,000 following what’s being described as “generous donations” from Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins and comedian Hannibal Buress. DJ Mustard also gave $10,000 to the efforts.
In addition, the fundraiser has also received a multitude of donations from charitable fans wanting to add their philanthropic efforts to the current water crisis in the City of Flint, Michigan.
Big Sean kicked off the campaign with an initial $10,000 contribution from himself. The fundraiser was launched to benefit the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan’s (CFGF) “Flint Child Health & Development Fund.”
