Big Sean recently held a call-to-arms for those paying attention to the Flint water crisis by springing into action with the #HealFlintKids fundraiser. The charity is a springboard of the Motor City MC’s Sean Anderson Foundation which benefits the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan’s “Flint Child Health & Development Fund.”

DJ Mustard recently heard the call–and matched Sean’s contribution of $10,000–to get the desolate Midwestern city back into good standing.

“As a father of two kids, the tragedy in Flint, Michigan hit home for me,” the celebrated producer says of his of reasoning to contribute. “Shout out to Big Sean for starting this viral campaign. I hope my donation can encourage others to step up for an important cause.”

The two Roc Nation-managed artists collaborated on the 2014 track “I Don’t Fuck with You,” which has since achieved triple platinum status.

Rap stars such as The Game, Meek Mill, and Puff Daddy have also contributed to the lead poisoning situation.
