Aftermath artist The Game is known for his rhyming abilities. Lately, the Westcoast emcee has also been practicing his lines. No, not his rap lines; he’s been reading scripts. The rapper is ready to become venture into acting and his skills on film will be displayed in the up-coming thriller titled Waist Deep.

The film is currently in post-production. It features Larenz Tate, famous for his roles in such films as Dead presidents and Menace II Society.

Tyrese Gibson who won critical acclaim for his role in “Four Brothers” will be the star of the film. His character is an ex-convict who gets involved with gang activities after his car is hijacked. The twist in the film is inside the stolen automobile.

The Game is proud of the film. “I’m not the star in the movie,” said Game, “but the character I play will show that my acting skills are up to par. Acting with Tyrese and Larenz Tate is just a blessing; they are great actors.”

The Game’s new tracks have been going on the radio as well, including a Dre assisted “Here We Go Again.” On the track, the protégé of Doc Dre defies the rumors that he would not be able to record an album without 50’s help. He speaks on the state of the West and his affiliation to Aftermath.

“I’m signed for five albums and I’ve made Interscope more than 50 million dollars, so I don’t see why Dre would not want to work with me,” he recently said.
