At one point in September, “Watch Me” sold 82,623 units and reclaimed the top spot on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart over “Can’t Feel My Face.”
The site says the 17-year-old signed a contract with Capitol Records that includes provisions for four albums. Silento is projected to earn $50,000 for his debut project and up to $500,000 for each additional LP.
